Pirates of Purgatory
We are a full contact foam fighting role play group located in Independence Missouri. Dedicated to playing and supporting the foam fighting sport of both Dagorhir and Belegarth, we do what is called battle gaming or sometimes called Live Action Gaming, which differs from the original "Larp" you will hear a lot about.
Encouraging any and all people to engage the sport, we meet regularly to hone our skills!
Some background on us and who we are
The Pirates of Purgatory be it our name. We hail from the realm of Grimmwood, located in the first layer of the underworld. Purgatory docks be a graveyard near the River Stix that flows through all areas of the Abyss and is bordering the Greed family Castle. Poppy, Captain of our ship "The Seventh Sanctum", lives in the castle as the Seven Sins also reside in Grimmwood and be her kinsfolk. Being around those parts will most likely secure a run in with them.

The Seventh Sanctum and its crew sail on the river and are best at dealing in black market goods. What could you ever mean black market goods you ask? Well in their position as it be, this could mean anything from jewels and treasure, to forbidden potions and poisons. There be rumors as well, that we have dabbled in a few trades of sacrifice, but that would be daft to believe, right? The Ship being a beautiful Spanish Galleon that was built with the roots of the Yggdrasil tree and the hull is black in color. The sails of the three large masts are royal purple, the symbol painted on the front of them. The crew frequents events and above world events at their fancy, and are a close-knit clan of under-folk.

As pirates, we are always looking to expand our crew, so if you ever find yourself in the area, feel free to drop by the Cavern of the Crimson Port and ask around, you are sure to be told when we dock again and can join our ranks and experience the dandy of what is to be a Pirate of Purgatory.
